We visited for Mother’s Day and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Everything—from the food to the wine to the ambiance—was spot on. The clams were an absolute standout, and the butter with the bread? Simply unforgettable. To top it all off, we received a beautifully thoughtful Mother’s Day candle as a gift, which was such a lovely surprise. It’s those little details that make a place truly special. Can’t wait to come back with more loved ones!

Brilliant restaurant/wine or sake bar. Food and selections of wines/sake are superb. Each dish is thoughtful and made with fresh local ingredients. Some of the best vegetable dishes. Dachi and Elephant make some of the best vegetables. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. We have two young children and they were very accommodating. Lastly, the outdoor area is very nice too. I think it's a great place for drinks and food, but best if you do both.

Had my birthday dinner here a while back, and what a first impression. All the dishes were exceptional, creative, and cohesive. Our group opted for the set menu and got a little bit of everything. One of our friends was dairy-free and they were very accommodating. I’ll definitely be back for another visit!

Really nice place and nice group of people. I went alone for my birthday and asked them to suggest a wine for me, which was great. I ordered the polenta and it was by far one of the best I've had. I asked for a syrah type wine but unfortunately they didn't have any, but were able to suggest a similar wine. I also got some charcuterie & cheese, which was great as well. They offered me a free celebratory mini drink which was very kind. Lastly, when I left I forgot my bag and the server ran out after me, which was much appreciated!

Fantastic spot. The food was great and the choice or natural wines were excellent. To top it off the staff gave some great recommendations and were very friendly. We sat on the dog friendly patio with our dog and got the tasting menu. With two glasses of wine and a tasting menu it came to 100 each which is great value.

What a nice dining experience this place is! Make sure you get a reservation as they will get very full. They have a great selection of local wines and an extensive menu of a variety of eats that will leave you full. The tasting menu is a great option if you’re not sure what to get, and their cocktails are also well made. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely come back for more food in the future!

Never disappoints. Overall great bites and sips, delightful knowledgeable staff, good times Would recommend the shared tasting menu. Cute interior, walls lined with empty bottles of favourites they’ve poured in the past. Fantastic dog-friendly patio, weather permitting. Images are of various meals over several months.

Had a wonderful dinner with a group of 6 friends recently! We did the entire menu and doubled up on some dishes that really appealed to our group. Wine pairings were excellent, vibes were high, our server Robert I believe? Was so sweet and helpful. Added to the good vibes. My personal favourite was the deep fried mochi dessert with the ume dessert wine My partner and I just moved to the neighbourhood, and we’ll definitely be back for more soon!
